Free Internet Advertising

There are many mediums that will give you free internet advertising. If you write an article and submit that article to a couple of the top directories you will get some traffic back to your site. These articles can not be actual ads, but need to give information that will benefit the reader. Then at the bottom of the article you can give a link back to your site. To get more people to follow that link you should give your reader a reason to come back to your site, like even more information or something of value.

Other free internet advertising can be achieved through the many different free online classifieds. Some of these will allow you a link back to your site while others will charge you for that link. Also some will give you the option of a premium ad that will be above the others for a small fee. Otherwise you will need to continually resubmit your ad to stay on top of the list.

More free internet advertising can come from a press release that you submit to one or more of the online newspapers. Most are similar to that of the article directories, and will accept almost anything, while others are like offline newspapers that want something that is beneficial to their readers and truly newsworthy.

Another method of getting free internet advertising is to set up a blog that gives value to your client base. As you get more and more followers some of those people will become clients of yours. Use the proper keywords that people are typing in then get links to your blogs from other blogs or websites using those keywords and you will start to rank for those keywords. Takes time, but works.

Maybe not free internet advertising, but low cost advertising methods online can be through many websites that have complimentary but not competitive businesses. You can either advertise on their sites with a banner program or advertise directly to their client base through an online newsletter or email. This is not free, but can be very cost effective.
