An internet advertising agency is a company that can help you promote your business through multiple forms of advertising and or marketing. These companies can help you within a network that they belong to and promote to. For instance if you are looking for a cpa campaign these companies could promote you to existing clients that have websites, who would in turn build optimized sites that would get traffic only for your company. Each person takes a cut of what you are paying. If for instance your cost per acquisition is $10, then the company might keep $4 and pay $6 to the person with the website. This is great for everyone involved. If I build a website and send 100 people per month to you I make $600, if 5 people do that then the company makes $2000, and this costs you a total of $5000 for 100 very qualified leads. Yes this might seem expensive, but this is just an example of how this can work. For some companies this will be cheap, if for you this is too much, then a lower cpa might be necessary. But at least you see why others will build these kinds of sites just to promote your company, or maybe 4-5 similar companies and split amongst you. This is a small stand alone business for them, and highly targeted advertising for you.

There are other methods internet advertising agencies can set you up with. Remember though this is your company and you should either have some good knowledge on the types of marketing you want or have someone within the marketing department that can look after this. The only reason I say this is in a very short period of time you could spend a lot of money and if did incorrectly you would waste everything.
